북구 유럽을 대표하는 유명작곡가 둘이 있는데 체코의 스메타나와 노르웨이 출신의 그리그가 바로 그들이다. 보헤미아의 나라 체코, 그 수도 바르샤바를 관통하는 몰다우 강은 체코인의 영원한 모국애가 깃든 “어머니의 강”이다. 체코 국민주의 음악의 아버지라 일컫는 스메타나의 애국혼이 담긴 “몰다우 강” 등 주옥 같은 작품들이 연주된다. 중반 이후로는 그리그의 작품이 수록 되어 있다. 북구 유럽의 아름다움을 그리그는 음악적으로 묘사하였다. 그의 작품중 “ 페르귄트”, “모닝”등 가장 인기 있는 클래식 작품들이 수록 되어 있다.
